The clinics provide free and confidential counselling, testing and some treatments. No Medicare card is needed. The clinics also provide free interpreting services (face-to-face or by telephone). You need to make an appointment before going.

Queensland Positive People
A network of people with HIV/AIDS offering: regular social activities, peer support, advocacy, treatments, information and referrals (and includes services for heterosexual HIV positive people).

Hepatitis organisations

Provides free services such as telephone information and support services, clinical counselling, education and training, printed resources, support groups and information evenings.

Statewide service for people who are illicit drug users, their family, friends and health professionals, providing Needle and Syringe Programs (NSPs), detox services, counselling, education, training, information and resources.

Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ)
ECCQ represents the interests of people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities in Queensland through advocacy, community development programs, Women’s Ethnic Network, health program, multicultural policy development and research.
