Monthly tip for community associations – January

The constitution is a set of rules for running your organisation.

These rules will depend on the legal structure you decide to adopt for your association. It is critical that the whole management committee or board becomes familiar with their own constitution as governance processes are described in their rules.

If there’s an empty legal space in need of clarification, the Association Incorporation Act 1981 and Associations Incorporation Regulation 1999 will prime.
