On 29 May ECCQ’s Local Drug Action Team (LDAT) hosted a consultation session for community leaders to develop action plans to prevent and minimise harm caused by alcohol and drugs.
Representatives from Arise Women and Sudanese & South Sudanese Assembly Support (SASSAS) participated in the consultation and put together action plans for their own communities.
ECCQ LDAT works with various CALD community leaders, members and stakeholders to empower communities to work together to prevent and minimise harm caused by alcohol and other drugs.
The LDAT Program is funded by the Australian Government and it is being implemented across Australia with 244 teams already in action.
