Congrats to the recipients and all the nominees for the Australian of the Year Awards 2019 announced last night in Canberra.
ECCQ Director Elijah Buol represented Queensland as a nominee in the Local Hero Category. We are very proud that his tireless work on behalf of multicultural communities, especially youth, was recognised.
All the nominees represent what it means to be positive role models and change makers as they will no doubt continue to inspire us to help others.
