ECCQ Chairperson announced CEO resignation

It is with both sadness and gratitude that I announce Garry Page’s resignation from the CEO position of the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ).

Garry is pictured above (middle) with Serge Voloschenko OAM, Honorary President (left) and Alton Budd, Chairperson.

For the last 3 years, Garry has effectively led ECCQ’s success and growth. On behalf of the Board, we acknowledge his hard work, dedication and accomplishments. We also wish him well in his new career endeavour as he makes a lateral move to another very prestigious not-for-profit.

Garry’s 3 years leading our incredibly diverse organisation involved many significant achievements that necessitated Garry’s strong leadership and decision making.

On behalf of the Board, we thank Garry for his commitment, enthusiasm and hard work. He will no doubt be missed by the Board, staff, members, stakeholders and community leaders.

The Board will continue to drive the vision and goals of ECCQ and the work of our business units, Multicultural Services, Berlasco Court and Diversicare. The Board will keep you all informed in regards to filling ECCQ’s leadership position.

Happy New Year.

Warm regards,
