HIV/AIDS
ECCQ’s HIV/AIDS program seeks to actively educate and inform people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds on HIV, and to increase CALD people to access relevant health services.
The program is funded by Queensland Health. The HIV/AIDS program commenced in 1992.
The program ensures that CALD people are not disadvantaged in accessing health information and services, and that the promotion of wellbeing is appropriate for the needs of people from CALD backgrounds.

The HIV/AIDS Program provides a variety of free workshops and presentations on a range of topics to CALD communities and youth; service providers and bilingual health workers and volunteers. Some workshops can be delivered in community languages. More information here.
