Better targeted health services needed, says peak migrant body (7 Sept 09)
The Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) says efforts to counter chronic disease in Queensland need to take into account the different cultural backgrounds amongst the community. ECCQ made the call in its submission to the State Parliament’s Social Development Committee inquiry into chronic disease.
