ANZAC Day marks the landing of Australian and New Zealand soldiers at Gallipoli and remembers the sacrifice and lives lost during the war.
ECCQ also acknowledges the soldiers from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds that were a part of Australian troops in numerous conflicts, including Gallipoli. We acknowledge and remember all the servicemen and servicewomen who have served this multicultural country.
ECCQ is the peak body for advocacy for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities in Queensland. We have been working directly with Queensland’s many communities since 1976. Our focus is supporting and advocating for the needs, interests and contributions of CALD communities in Queensland.
