Improving your cultural competency

Partners in Cultural Competence (PiCC), an initiative of ECCQ and Queensland’s “one-stop-shop” for cross cultural training and consulting services. Call 3844 9166 for information on in-house training and services.



CALD Community Learning

ECCQ’s community learning project, funded by DETE, will support and mentor CALD Queenslanders to undertake and successfully complete vocational training. Call 3255 1540 for more information.

Health Navigator App for CALD communities


11 APRIL 2014: Metro North Brisbane Medicare Local in partnership with peak body the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland will launch the Health Navigator Tool on 28 April 2014. The tool enables disadvantaged groups to access appropriate health services and information through smart phone and mobile web technology. (more…)

Diversicare celebrates 25 years of service


10 APRIL 2014: Diversicare, a wholly-owned division of peak body for cultural diversity, the Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland, celebrated 25 years as an Aged Care industry leader last night at the Parliamentary Annexe, hosted by the Hon.
