In partnership with Arthritis Queensland (AQ), ECCQ is developing resources for Arabic speaking and Vietnamese communities as part of the Healthy Bone Pilot Project.In Australia, 28% (6.1 million people) of the population is affected by arthritis or other musculoskeletal conditions and 3.8% of Australians are affected by osteoporosis. 20 November 2014: A case study carried out by Curtin University and Griffith University found that refugees are at risk of chronic disease as a result of unhealthy diets and poor nutrition choices.
